How do you tell its a faulty tube?

With later models of the Stereo 50 its equip with system protection – in other words tube protection system. It will detect a faulty tube and shut the unit down to protect itself. Look closely into the unit and check next to the tube if there is a red LED blinking. It can happen very fast so do keep an eye out for it.
