Question: Is it only and specifically 20Hz that is augmented or is it the bandwidth around 20Hz? In other words, is the Q high (narrow bandwidth) or low at 20Hz when the gain is added?
Answer: iTube 2 uses a gentle slope “shelf” type boost that is at the maximum (12dB) at the stated frequency. It is designed to boost the bass in speakers that have a low reaching but attenuated bass (e.g. sealed box mini-monitors).
